Vertical Imagery


NZ Aerial Mapping has expanded the range of data capture options in LiDAR & Digital Aerial Photography available to its clients by investing in the latest airborne data acquisition and automated processing technologies. The speed, economy and technical advances of direct digital airborne image acquisition are available for spatial information projects with NZAM operating Vexcel large format digital aerial cameras and Leica LiDAR sensors.

NZAM has developed the most modern photogrammetric practice in, Middle East, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Australia, UK and several other parts of the world.  NZAM has the knowledge, technology and capacity to complete projects to specification, on time.

Digital aerial photography permits the use of increased forward overlap at no extra cost, allowing improved success in automated procedures, superior automated DEM generation , a reduction in areas obscured by buildings and of apparent building lean in urban projects. While the increased geometric accuracy is attributable to:

  • No image shrinking or other deformations
  • Inner orientation is inherently available
  • Duplicates are truly identical
  • Absence of film grain
  • Increased radiometric range
